Description

You will build and maintain highly scalable, distributed Ruby on Rails services within a service-oriented architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex, multi-tier distributed software applications.
• Build performance-sensitive systems handling tens of millions of daily requests.
• Develop mid-tier services within a service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Document, test, and modify systems as required.
• Contribute as a member of an autonomous, cross-functional agile team.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Ruby on Rails expertise.
• Experience with Postgres and other relational databases.
• Proficiency with Linux and VIM.
• Experience working with APIs and GitHub.
• Practical experience using Agile development methods.
• Ability to design and implement distributed software applications.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Javascript and other front-end technologies.
