Description

You will build and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails, owning the full development lifecycle from design to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable Ruby code for server-side logic.
• Integrate user-facing elements with backend services in collaboration with front-end developers.
• Identify bottlenecks and resolve bugs to ensure application stability.
• Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality, organization, and automation standards.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience as a Ruby on Rails developer.
• Proficiency with Ruby on Rails, including RSpec and Resque.
• Strong command of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Deep understanding of MVC, ORM, RESTful APIs, and mocking concepts.
• Experience designing database schemas that support complex business processes.
• Familiarity with versioning tools like Git and build tools such as Bower, Bundler, and Rake.
• Knowledge of server-side templating languages like Liquid or Slim.
• Understanding of continuous integration and design principles for scalable applications.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and Agile methodologies.
