You will build and maintain scalable, distributed services within a service-oriented architecture.

Responsibilities

• Write highly scalable and distributed Ruby on Rails services.
• Develop mid-tier services using service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Manage data using Postgres and other relational databases.
• Operate within Agile development methodologies.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby on Rails.
• Experience building and consuming APIs.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub.
• Proficiency with Linux environments and Vim.
• Working knowledge of relational databases like Postgres.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Javascript and other front-end technologies.
