You will build and maintain highly scalable, distributed Ruby on Rails services used by millions of daily users.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop mid-tier services within a service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Build and scale systems supporting millions of daily active users.
• Drive technical projects from conception to deployment.
• Work within an Agile development framework.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional programming experience.
• Strong Ruby programming abilities.
• Proficiency in Java, Python, or C++.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Unix environments.
• Experience using Vim for development.
• Knowledge of relational databases and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with GitHub and version control.
• Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA).

Preferred Skills

• Experience building highly scalable distributed systems.
