Description

Build and maintain scalable Ruby on Rails applications using modern frontend and backend technologies.

Responsibilities

• Build and scale RoR applications following MVC patterns and software design principles.
• Develop RESTful APIs and integrate microservices for frontend consumption.
• Write clean, documented, and testable Ruby code using TDD practices.
• Manage application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Implement high-throughput, low-latency distributed systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Ruby on Rails development.
• Strong programming proficiency in Ruby, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Solid experience with ReactJS and jQuery.
• Expertise in MySQL database design and data modelling.
• Proficiency in TDD using RSpec and RuboCop.
• Experience with version control via GitHub.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like CircleCI.
• Knowledge of AWS and public cloud environments.
• Competency in HTML and CSS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for application shipping.
• Knowledge of distributed technologies and real-time systems.
