Description

Design and develop robotic systems for oil & gas drilling and pipe-handling applications, integrating sensors and control systems for autonomous operations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop robotic control software for real-time telemetry, remote operation, and data acquisition.
• Integrate ultrasonic, LiDAR, and pressure sensors into autonomous drilling and pipe-handling systems.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to prototype and test robotic control solutions in field conditions.
• Analyze performance data to optimize systems for safety, reliability, and efficiency while ensuring regulatory compliance.
• Conduct field trials and validation tests in simulated and live oil & gas environments.

Required Skills

• 6-7+ years of strong Angular experience.
• Hands-on working knowledge of Actin development.
• Hands-on working knowledge of Energid robotic control software.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and ROS.
• Strong understanding of control systems, kinematics, and embedded systems.
• Experience with ROS Industrial 2.0, RViz, and MoveIt.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with sensors used in oil & gas robotics.
