Description

Develop and maintain RPG programs on the AS/400 platform. Own the full lifecycle from design to deployment, translating business requirements into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain RPG applications on the AS/400.
• Collaborate with analysts and end-users to define technical specifications.
• Troubleshoot and debug existing applications to resolve issues.
• Integrate AS/400 systems with external platforms using APIs, RESTful, and SOAP services.
• Document technical specifications, user guides, and relevant materials.

Required Skills

• Proficiency in RPG programming on the AS/400 platform.
• Strong understanding of AS/400 system architecture and operations.
• Experience with database design and management on AS/400.
• Knowledge of ION, INFO R XA, or MAPICS.
• Experience with APIs, including RESTful and SOAP services.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently or within a team.
• Any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SAP integration and functionalities.
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and best practices.
