You will develop and maintain free format RPG code to meet sprint goals and deliver business value.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop free format RPG code to implement sprint goals.
• Contribute to designing and building modern APIs servicing customer data from the iSeries database.
• Own the product, proposing improvements and innovation ideas.
• Collaborate with front-end developers to provide REST APIs in various interfacing languages.
• Enhance business rules using an Object Oriented implementation.
• Contribute to unit, integration, and end-to-end testing best practices.
• Work within a cross-functional Scrum team, participating in ceremonies like planning and retrospectives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in RPGLE and ILE.
• Experience developing REST APIs.
• Working knowledge of Scrum methodology.
• Experience with iSeries database interactions.
• Understanding of Object Oriented programming principles.
