Description

You will develop, debug, and maintain applications on the AS400 platform.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business processes and client requirements to modify existing modules.
• Program, test, and debug application programs according to specifications.
• Prepare test plans, unit test cases, and effort estimates for new requirements.
• Fix bugs in existing systems and provide regular status reports.
• Support enhancement, maintenance, and production support projects.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of IT experience in analysis, design, development, and testing.
• Technical expertise in RPG/400, CL/400, DB2/400, RPGIV, OS/400, RPGILE, SQL/400, and CLLE.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio Code for RPGLE and CLLE development.
• Strong understanding of Git for version control and collaborative development.
• Hands-on experience with MKS Implementer for configuration and DevOps integration.
• Ability to reverse-engineer and debug existing code.
• Expertise in SEU, SDA, PDM, DBU, DFU, RLU, and QUERY/400.
• Knowledge of SQL queries, database relations, DSPF, PRTF, and IFS.
• Solid understanding of all SDLC phases from analysis through maintenance.
• Competency with 400 Query, Sql, Ftp, Qsh, Xml, and Jcl.
