Description

Develop, maintain, and enhance applications within the iSeries environment. Own the full lifecycle from design and coding to testing and implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and implement applications using RPGIV/ILE, CLLE, and Free-form RPG.
• Manage complex queries and database operations using DB2/400 and SQL/400.
• Develop service programs, prototypes, procedures, and API calls.
• Maintain iSeries connectivity to PCs and networks via IFS.
• Write FTP control language for data movement and integration.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in application analysis, design, coding, and implementation.
• Strong proficiency in RPG, CL, and Free-form RPG.
• Deep expertise in DB2 database management and complex query management.
• Advanced knowledge of Embedded SQL in RPGLE.
• Experience with binding directories and service programs.
• Hands-on experience with XML.
• Proficiency in SQL/400.
• Experience with iSeries IFS and network connectivity.
