Description

Design, develop, and maintain applications on the iSeries platform while modernizing legacy systems through API and IWS integration.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain iSeries applications using RPG and SQL.
• Modernize legacy systems by integrating IWS, APIs, and advanced iSeries technologies.
• Debug and resolve software defects efficiently.
• Participate in peer code reviews, system testing, and CI/CD pipeline contributions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical and business goals.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with RPG and SQL development.
• Proven track record in iSeries modernization projects (IWS, APIs).
• Proficiency in RPG programming; knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices and tools.
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Bachelor's degree.
• 5+ years of working experience.
