Description

You will design, develop, and test software to maintain and enhance existing systems on AS400 and iSeries platforms.

Responsibilities

• Perform software design, development, and unit testing for legacy and new applications.
• Partner with business resources, operations, and analysts to deliver project requirements.
• Integrate commercial-off-the-shelf products and tools into existing infrastructure.
• Conduct software research, analysis, and support user acceptance testing.
• Create and maintain programming documentation and support production issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development and programming experience.
• 5+ years of experience debugging and maintaining RPG code.
• Proficiency in RPG, Java, and JavaScript.
• Experience with AS400 and iSeries platforms and related peripherals.
• Strong SQL skills for database interaction and querying.
• Experience with waterfall, agile, or rapid prototyping methodologies.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Enrich, BOA, or TL2000 systems.
• Familiarity with the transportation industry.
