Description

You will maintain and enhance core ERP systems for a retail environment on the IBM iSeries platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and modify applications using RPG IV, RPG Free, ILE, CL, and embedded SQL.
• Provide day-to-day support for ERP systems to resolve user-reported issues.
• Collaborate with business users and IT leadership to define requirements and document solutions.
• Manage programming projects and change requests under IT leadership direction.
• Create and maintain system documentation, technical specifications, and change control records.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of RPG programming experience in an IBM iSeries (AS/400) environment.
• Proficiency in RPG IV, RPG Free Format, and ILE.
• Strong experience with embedded SQL and i5/OS.
• Hands-on experience with iSeries networking, RLU, SDA, and subfile programming.
• Proficiency with FTP/SFTP and PGP encryption.
• Experience supporting systems in a multi-outlet retail chain.
• Familiarity with Avery label/barcode printers and change control systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Lawson ERP.
• Experience with eCommerce integrations.
