Description

Lead micro-architecture and RTL design for critical CPU blocks. Drive development from high-level exploration through detailed specification. Provide technical leadership to junior designers and ensure designs meet power, performance, area, and timing goals.

Responsibilities

• Drive micro-architecture development and detailed specification.
• Supervise and provide technical leadership to junior CPU RTL designers.
• Develop and refine RTL designs to meet specific power, performance, area, and timing goals.
• Collaborate with the design verification team to execute functional verification strategies.
• Support performance verification to ensure RTL designs meet architectural goals.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in RTL design.
• Expertise in CPU micro-architecture and high-performance computing (HPC) strategies.
• Hands-on experience with RISC or RISC-V architectures.
• Proficiency in Python or Perl scripting.
• Experience with multi-threading and SIMD designs.
• Knowledge of functional verification processes.
• Ability to work on configurable design features.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with hardware virtualization and low-power micro-architecture techniques.
