Description

You will own the design, implementation, and maintenance of Rubrik backup solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage Rubrik CDM environments, performing upgrades and manual backups across various operating systems.
• Execute on-demand restores, including Instant VM recovery and Live mounts.
• Protect databases, manage volumes, and monitor backup schedules to troubleshoot failures.
• Develop and document procedures for backup/restore, performance tuning, and environment configuration.
• Provide primary and secondary on-call support and perform Root Cause Analysis to meet service level agreements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Rubrik backup administration.
• Hands-on experience with Rubrik CDM and managing high-end storage devices.
• Proficiency in backup and restore operations, including incremental backups.
• Working knowledge of VMware and VSS snapshots.
• Understanding of networking principles, including routing, subnets, and firewalls.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes.
