Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby and the Ruby on Rails framework.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Design RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
• Write clean, reusable, and efficient code.
• Optimize application performance and scalability.
• Perform code reviews and unit testing.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Ruby.
• Expertise in Ruby on Rails framework.
• Experience with RESTful API development and MVC architecture.
• Proficiency with ActiveRecord and database design (PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• Competency with Git version control.
• Experience with background jobs (Sidekiq, Resque) and caching (Redis, Memcached).
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (RSpec, Capybara).
• Ability to implement front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Experience deploying applications using AWS or Heroku and Docker.

Preferred Skills

• 3 years of experience in Ruby and Rails development.
