You will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that integrate with existing architecture and support future enhancements.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy software applications using Ruby on Rails.
• Analyze technical environments to ensure seamless integration with current systems.
• Debug and correct errors within computer programs to maintain stability.
• Collaborate with the team or work independently to meet project objectives.
• Apply object-oriented design principles and service orientation concepts.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development and implementation.
• Proficiency with Ruby on Rails.
• Strong JavaScript skills, including React and Redux.
• Experience with REST and SOAP Web Services.
• Experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, SQL, or Postgres.
• Knowledge of service orientation concepts and enabling technologies.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Ability to obtain a VA Medium-Background Investigation clearance.
• US C/GC work authorization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading and mentoring junior developers.
• Experience with containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift.
• Experience with BPM tools such as Camunda.
