Description

You will develop backend services and middle-office platforms within a Scrum team.

Responsibilities

• Build reusable, high-quality code and services to enhance service delivery and interoperability.
• Drive application design and lead code reviews with senior stakeholders.
• Implement microservices architecture to improve platform resiliency.
• Shape technical best practices across the engineering team.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with a strong foundation in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Design.
• Proficiency in backend development using Ruby and Rails.
• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) using RSpec.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Angular, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with containerization.
• Experience working within an Agile/Scrum environment and Microservices Architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Securities or Financial Services domains.
