Description

You will design and implement complex, multi-tier distributed software applications and build performance-sensitive systems serving tens of millions of daily requests.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, distributed Ruby on Rails services.
• Develop mid-tier services within a service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Document and test systems to ensure high-performance standards.
• Contribute as a member of an autonomous, cross-functional agile team.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring for senior-level candidates.

Required Skills

• Strong Ruby on Rails experience.
• Experience with Postgres and other relational databases.
• Proficiency with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Hands-on experience with APIs.
• Working knowledge of GitHub.
• Experience using Linux and VIM.
• Comfortable working with Agile development methods.
• 6-8 years of experience for senior roles; 3-5 years for junior roles.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of JavaScript and other front-end technologies.
