Description

You will build and maintain scalable, distributed Ruby on Rails services within an agile, cross-functional team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex, multi-tier distributed software applications.
• Build performance-sensitive systems handling tens of millions of daily requests.
• Develop mid-tier services within a service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Document, test, and modify systems as required.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring for senior-level roles.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with Ruby on Rails.
• 6-8 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience with Postgres and other relational databases.
• Proficiency with GitHub and API development.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Vim.
• Practical application of Agile development methods.
• Strong communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Javascript and other front-end technologies.
