Description

You will lead technical design and end-to-end development of real-time and batch web applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services using Ruby on Rails and React frontend components.
• Produce detailed application prototypes and technical design documentation for the development team.
• Provide technical oversight through code reviews, mentoring, and enforcing testing standards.
• Implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services to meet product requirements.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues to meet delivery milestones.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails and React.js.
• Strong proficiency with PostgreSQL or MySQL.
• Experience working within Agile/Lean delivery environments.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
• Ability to deliver end-to-end solutions and document technical recommendations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GraphQL and REST APIs.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices.
