Description

Lead the design and end-to-end development of web-based, real-time, and batch applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop application prototypes to guide the development team through implementation.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to identify requirements for new products or extensions.
• Provide technical oversight through code reviews and direct mentoring of the technical team.
• Propose, document, and implement technical design improvements and architecture recommendations.
• Oversee unit testing strategies to ensure all application logic is fully exercised.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development and application architecture.
• Deep expertise in Ruby and application design patterns.
• Proficiency with SQL and No-SQL databases, including MS SQL and Postgres.
• Strong experience with Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and AngularJS.
• Working knowledge of JSON, Bootstrap, and front-end integration.
• Practical experience in Agile/Scrum environments using tools like Rally, Jenkins, GitHub, Confluence, PullReview, and log4r.
• Ability to deliver end-to-end solutions within agile/lean delivery frameworks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience delivering complex projects within strict delivery milestones.
