Description

You will build complex back-end micro-services, command line utilities, and data processing scripts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement new modules and APIs.
• Plan, build, and launch product features.
• Write unit, functional, and integration tests.
• Estimate development tasks and meet deadlines.
• Collaborate with engineering, QA, and product design teams to scale applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of web application engineering experience with Ruby on Rails.
• 2+ years of experience building web UI/UX interactions.
• 1+ years of experience with Vue.js and Git.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• 5+ years of experience improving Ruby on Rails performance using Memcached and background job processing frameworks like Sidekiq or Resque.
• Hands-on experience deploying applications on AWS using Capistrano.
• Ability to work and develop in a Linux environment.
• Proficiency in Responsive Design and caching strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Ruby-based command line utilities and data processing scripts.
