Description

Design, build, and maintain web applications and backend components using Ruby on Rails.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop new web applications and backend services.
• Maintain and troubleshoot existing applications to fix bugs and bottlenecks.
• Write clean, reliable Ruby code and maintain APIs.
• Integrate data storage solutions and connect with additional web servers.
• Integrate user-facing elements designed by the front-end team.

Required Skills

• Experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Experience using Resque and RSpec.
• Proficiency with version control tools: Git, GitHub, SVN, and Mercurial.
• Knowledge of MVC, Mocking, RESTful architecture, and ORM.
• Understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with server-side templating languages such as Slim and Liquid.
• Experience with testing tools.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to write clean, maintainable Ruby code.
