Description

You will build and maintain web applications using Ruby on Rails.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new web applications and back-end components.
• Write and maintain clean, reliable Ruby code.
• Troubleshoot existing applications and fix bugs or performance bottlenecks.
• Integrate data storage solutions and maintain APIs.
• Connect applications with additional web servers and integrate front-end elements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Proficiency in Ruby and libraries such as Resque and RSpec.
• Experience with MongoDB and Postgres databases.
• Knowledge of MVC, Mocking, RESTful architecture, and ORM.
• Strong understanding of HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.
• Experience with AngularJS or BackboneJS.
• Proficiency with version control tools including Git, GitHub, SVN, and Mercurial.
• Familiarity with server-side templating languages like Slim and Liquid.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
