Description

You will own the development and maintenance of scalable Ruby on Rails applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable and secure Ruby on Rails applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define technical solutions.
• Conduct code reviews and enforce coding standards across the team.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues to maintain optimal performance.
• Contribute to architectural decisions ensuring application maintainability.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Ruby on Rails developer.
• In-depth knowledge of Ruby and the Rails framework.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with front-end frameworks like React or Angular.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Client Cloud) and Docker/Kubernetes.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API development (RESTful and GraphQL).
• Knowledge of testing frameworks such as RSpec or Minitest.
