Description

Build and maintain efficient, reusable Ruby code within a production environment. Design and implement backend services, REST APIs, and data models. Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and resolve bottlenecks and bugs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services and REST APIs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails programming.
• Strong understanding of Ruby syntax and object-oriented programming.
• Proficiency with Linux environments.
• Experience with JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Hands-on experience with Angular or React.js.
• Knowledge of server-side templating languages (Liquid, Slim).
• Experience with CSS preprocessors (Sass, Less).
• Practical experience using RSpec and Resque.
• Awareness of common web application security vulnerabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to design data models.
