Description

You will develop and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code within a production environment, owning server-side logic, REST APIs, and data models.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and build server-side logic and REST APIs.
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Design scalable data models and integrate storage solutions.
• Identify bottlenecks and implement effective solutions for bugs.
• Maintain code quality, organization, and automation while writing secure code.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Ruby on Rails programming.
• Strong understanding of Ruby syntax, nuances, and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with RSpec and Resque.
• Proficiency with Linux environments.
• Solid grasp of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with at least one JS framework, such as Angular or React.
• Knowledge of server-side templating languages like Liquid or Slim.
• Experience with CSS preprocessors such as Sass or Less.
• Understanding of common web application security vulnerabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working collaboratively across different technical teams.
