Description

You will build and maintain web services and applications using Ruby and JRuby within an agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications throughout the full development lifecycle.
• Apply object-oriented design patterns and data structure fundamentals to core tasks.
• Implement testing platforms and write unit tests to ensure code quality.
• Manage source code using Git and participate in agile workflows.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Ruby or JRuby (version 9.2.6+).
• Deep expertise in object-oriented development and design patterns.
• Proficiency with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL or Oracle 12c.
• Experience using Ruby database libraries such as Sequel or Active Record.
• Strong command of Git for source control.
• Solid understanding of data structures.
• Ability to work within agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD processes.
