Description

You will develop and maintain web applications using Ruby and Rails, managing the full lifecycle of web services.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications following the full lifecycle of Web Services using agile methodology.
• Implement testing platforms and write unit tests for features.
• Manage relational databases, specifically Oracle 12c and PostgreSQL.
• Apply object-oriented design principles and data structure fundamentals in development.
• Utilize source code control systems, specifically Git, and familiarity with CI/CD processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in Ruby/JRuby development (Ruby 2.0+ or JRuby 9.2.6+).
• Deep expertise in Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and design patterns.
• Proficiency with relational databases, including Oracle 12c and PostgreSQL.
• Experience using Ruby database libraries such as Sequel or Active Record.
• Strong command of source code control systems, specifically Git.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
