Design and deploy full-stack features while maintaining high code quality and system performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy features across the full application stack.
• Debug and resolve production issues to optimize system performance.
• Drive engineering consistency through peer code reviews and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with a multi-national team of Japanese and English speakers.
• Improve development processes through technical innovation.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails and TDD.
• Experience with MySQL and jQuery.
• Ability to build UIs using Sass.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Fluency in English.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Working knowledge of C++ and Angular.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud infrastructure knowledge including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and ArgoCD pipelines.
• Conversational Japanese capabilities.
• Domain knowledge in payroll or HR tech.
