Description

You will build and maintain scalable services within a scrum team focused on middle office platform resilience and interoperability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement high-performing, scalable applications and represent them in design and code reviews.
• Collaborate with technologists to leverage and contribute to reusable code and services across the platform.
• Drive subject matter expertise in functional areas and help shape best practices for software development.
• Work within a scrum team of 8+ people to deliver resilient and interoperable services.
• Apply strong fundamentals in Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Design to solve complex problems.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of work experience in software development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of Ruby and the Rails application framework.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) using RSpec.
• Knowledge of Microservices architecture and containerization.
• Experience with Agile software development methodologies.
• Familiarity with Java, Angular, or JavaScript.

Preferred Skills

• Experience contributing to reusable code libraries and services.
• Background in middle office or financial platform development.
