Description

You will build and maintain scalable Ruby on Rails services within a service-oriented architecture. You will own the development of mid-tier services, ensuring high availability and performance.

Responsibilities

• Write highly scalable and distributed Ruby on Rails services.
• Design and implement Application Programming Interfaces (APIs).
• Manage data persistence using Postgres and other relational databases.
• Operate within Agile development methodologies to deliver features.
• Utilize Linux and Vim for efficient development tasks.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Ruby and Ruby on Rails.
• Experience designing and working with Application Programming Interfaces (API).
• Proficiency with GitHub for version control.
• Experience working in Linux environments using Vim.
• Experience with relational databases such as Postgres.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of JavaScript and other front-end technologies.
• Prior experience with PayPal systems.
