Description

You will design, build, and maintain full-stack web applications using Ruby on Rails.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, and implement applications across the full stack.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to performance, response times, capacity, and system limitations.
• Create and modify technical documentation for all applications and websites.
• Collaborate with internal business partners, database and networking teams, and external vendors.
• Maintain websites to ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software development experience with Ruby as the core language.
• Proficiency in the Ruby on Rails framework.
• Strong experience with API design and interface technologies including JSON, ProtoBuf, REST, RPC, and XML.
• Front-end development using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Expert knowledge of Java.
• Expertise in integrated testing frameworks such as RSpec or MiniTest.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to AWS and DevOps practices.
