Description

Build and maintain scalable, distributed Ruby on Rails services. You will own the design and implementation of complex, multi-tier applications capable of handling tens of millions of requests daily.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement complex, multi-tier distributed software applications.
• Develop mid-tier services within a service-oriented architecture (SOA).
• Document, test, and modify systems for optimal performance.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to team members.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Proven experience building highly scalable and distributed services.
• Experience working with Postgres and other relational databases.
• Proficiency with APIs.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Vim.
• Experience using GitHub.
• Comfortable working within Agile development methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Javascript and other front-end technologies.

Any Graduate degree.
