Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable web applications using Ruby on Rails, focusing on clean code, API development, and performance optimization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Ruby code for core application features.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs following industry standards.
• Implement comprehensive test frameworks to ensure adequate feature coverage.
• Analyze and optimize application performance under load.
• Apply strong software engineering and architecture fundamentals in an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Azure Functions and GitHub Copilot.
• Strong foundation in software engineering principles and Agile best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience with modern web application architecture.
