You will write clean, maintainable, and efficient Ruby code while developing APIs that follow industry standards. You own the end-to-end functionality of modern web applications, ensuring they perform well under load. You apply strong software engineering and architecture fundamentals, adhering to Agile best practices. You implement test frameworks to ensure adequate feature coverage and optimize database interactions.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient Ruby code.
• Develop and maintain APIs following industry standards.
• Implement test frameworks to ensure adequate coverage for features.
• Optimize PostgreSQL schemas, indexes, and queries.
• Apply Agile best practices and strong architectural fundamentals.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience with Ruby on Rails.
• Proficient in SQL, including schema design, indexing, and query optimization.
• Strong understanding of PostgreSQL or similar relational databases.
• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript.
• Experience with GitHub for version control.
• Experience with Azure Functions.
• Solid understanding of Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
