Description

You will build and maintain high-performance systems using Rust and C++.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and validate features within mixed-language codebases.
• Own the engineering lifecycle, including CI/CD implementation, bug fixing, and troubleshooting.
• Implement security fixes, manage identities and secrets, and ensure secure endpoints.
• Maintain and enhance pipelines across Cosmos (MapReducer) and Azure data platforms.
• Execute governance tasks such as data partitioning and access control updates.

Required Skills

• Minimum 5 years combined production experience in C++ for performance-critical services.
• Minimum 5 years production or near-production experience with Rust, including ownership and safe concurrency.
• 5+ years experience with Big Data Platforms, specifically Cosmos (MapReducer) and Azure data stack (HDI, ADLS Gen2).
• Proficiency with Spark/Scala in a data platform context.
• Minimum 5 years experience with CI/CD processes and system debugging/monitoring.
• Demonstrated ability to work in mixed-language codebases, safely modernizing components.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with distributed system design and implementation.
