Description

Build safe, high-performance systems in Rust and own the removal of unsafe code.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the removal or redesign of unsafe Rust code.
• Align development efforts with the Client's Secure Development Lifecycle (SDL).
• Implement XML parsing strategies, comparing DOM versus streaming approaches.
• Maintain libraries featuring multi-language bindings (C, Python, Java, WASM).

Required Skills

• 5+ years of strong Rust systems programming experience.
• Deep understanding of Rust concepts including ownership, borrowing, and lifetimes.
• Proven experience working on security-sensitive or reviewed codebases.
• Experience with XML parsing strategies.
• Familiarity with multi-language bindings for Rust (C, Python, Java, WASM).
• Experience with Python and Java.
• Strong written communication for design and technical documentation.
