Description

Maintain and extend the mission-critical Rust-based middleware connecting Shopify Plus to enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and extend the existing middleware written in Rust.
• Debug and troubleshoot AWS Lambda functions and serverless workflows.
• Ensure smooth data flow between Shopify and external systems like Google Merchant Center.
• Collaborate with client teams and partner agencies to support e-commerce operations.
• Support occasional late-night deployments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Rust.
• Experience with AWS services including Lambda, EventBridge, and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency with Node.js.
• Experience managing data flows for product information (PIM), inventory updates, and order processing.
• Knowledge of Shopify or Shopify Plus implementations.
• Ability to access systems via Okta and Google Cloud.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.
