Description

You will build and maintain components for a WebAssembly-based Application Development Kit targeting set-top box hardware.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop application logic that executes via WebAssembly to bypass browser inconsistencies on streaming devices.
• Build portable binary formats that allow for the rapid deployment of new application logic without firmware updates.
• Optimize code to maintain a smaller footprint than general-purpose browser engines.
• Ensure full-stack control above the operating system to manage application performance and stability.
• Work with low-level system components and API integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficiency with Rust and WebAssembly (WASM).
• Experience working with Linux environments.
• Strong understanding of API development and integration.
• Ability to work with low-level system components and portable binary formats.
• Degree in any field of study.
