Description

You will build backend, async, and fault-tolerant server-side applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and test RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
• Develop SQL and No-SQL database schemas for new features.
• Implement features using NATS, OpenSearch, and Postgres to optimize user experience.
• Make technical trade-offs between development speed, performance, and scalability.
• Establish consistent and reusable patterns during feature development.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of engineering experience at tech and product-driven companies.
• Experience building backend, async, and fault-tolerant server-side applications.
• Proficiency in REST and GraphQL API design.
• Experience with relational databases like Postgres or MySQL, including design and tuning.
• Proficiency with No-SQL databases such as Redis, Cassandra, or Neo4j.
• Strong command of Git, DevOps, and Agile engineering practices.
• Ability to deliver results in environments with loosely defined requirements or competing priorities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with NATS and OpenSearch.
