You will own complex technical development and support within the S/4 HANA landscape.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical designs and ABAP objects.
• Develop, document, and test ABAP programs and enhancements following coding guidelines.
• Resolve complex technical issues within agreed service-level timelines.
• Provide technical guidance and support during implementation phases.
• Analyze software requirements to determine design feasibility.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of ABAP development experience, including Reports, Interfaces, CDS Views, OData (SEGW, CDS, BOPF, RAP), and Enhancements.
• Strong object-oriented programming skills and expertise with new ABAP syntax.
• High proficiency in debugging complex SAP and web-based programs.
• Experience with multi-system landscape architectures and performance tuning.
• Experience configuring, activating, and debugging standard OData and SOAP APIs.
• Experience in ABAP Cloud and Fiori development using RAP and side-by-side extensions.
• Strong understanding of “clean core” principles and implementation best practices.
• Familiarity with system upgrades (SPDD, SPAU) and custom code remediation.
• Knowledge of SAP S/4 HANA, IBP, ECC, APO, GTS tables, and data elements.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SAP EWM and RF programming.
• Experience with SAP BTP tools: BPA, Integration Suite, Build Apps, API Management, Event Mesh.
