Description

You will manage on-site safety, environmental compliance, and ergonomics programs to ensure a healthy workplace.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Identify and mitigate safety hazards, environmental concerns, and unsafe practices to minimize risk.
• Lead the site Safety Committee and manage the on-site ergonomics program.
• Investigate safety incidents and implement necessary countermeasures.
• Conduct safety systems audits, review equipment modifications, and approve Job Safety Analyses (JSA).
• Coordinate emergency evacuations and shelter drills in collaboration with fire and security personnel.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing or logistical environment.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and Safety Management systems.
• Active TWIC card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with data analysis, problem solving, and critical thinking (kaizen).
• Project management skills and experience developing and delivering presentations.
• Ability to manage customer expectations and find mutually agreeable solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing facility inspections and required environmental reporting.
