Description

Lead facility safety and security programs, managing compliance, hazard mitigation, and third-party vendor relations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage the facility safety program, including administrative controls and workers compensation/injury management.
• Partner with Operations to identify and mitigate workplace hazards.
• Develop and conduct safety trainings covering compliance and injury prevention initiatives.
• Collaborate with HR, QA, IT, and Maintenance to improve security measures against theft, property damage, and threats.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the third-party security provider.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years in an occupational loss reduction role, or an Associate Degree and 10+ years in the same field.
• Knowledge of OSHA compliance and injury prevention.
• Ability to obtain CSM and OSHA 501 certifications within the first year.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in occupational safety.
• Experience in food manufacturing.
• Bilingual in Spanish.
