Description

Lead service operations and application support for critical WebMethods and API Gateway integrations.

Responsibilities

• Manage incident, configuration, change, and release management processes within the ASM framework.
• Maintain and secure SOAP, REST, and WebSocket APIs using WebMethods Integration Server and API Gateway.
• Troubleshoot P1/P2 integration issues and implement message transformations or SOAP to REST conversions.
• Develop clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for issue resolution and troubleshooting.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to manage deployment processes and CI/CD practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in application support or integration management.
• Proficiency with WebMethods Integration Server and API Gateway architecture.
• Hands-on experience configuring SOAP-based, REST, and WebSocket APIs.
• Strong knowledge of security practices including OAuth2, API keys, and access control.
• Proficiency in Java and Linux shell scripting.
• Experience with RDBMS systems such as Oracle or SQL Server.
• Working knowledge of networking protocols: TCP/IP, SMTP, HTTP, FTP, SOAP, and AS2.
• Experience using SOAP UI and SQL Developer.
• Ability to manage certificate-based transmissions and threat protection mechanisms.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of APIEE, Kafka, and Google Cloud.
• Experience with WebMethods integration involving mainframe systems or Salesforce.
