Description

You will serve as the technical lead for the Thomas & Bettys product portfolio, driving revenue and demand across industrial, commercial, data center, and OEM markets.

Responsibilities

• Ensure installation products and solutions are specified and approved in customer designs.
• Provide application expertise and technical support to independent manufacturer’s representatives and distributor partners.
• Develop and deliver technical training classes for customers, influencers, and local sales teams.
• Monitor project activity via Dodge and Industrial Info to engage early with consultants on specifications.
• Communicate market trends, product gaps, and customer requirements to product management teams.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field, or 5 years of equivalent industry experience.
• Strong understanding of Electrical Engineering principles.
• Proficiency using Salesforce.com for project and activity tracking.
• Knowledge of industry codes and standards.
• Ability to translate complex technical information for non-technical customers.
• Strong technical problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Willingness to travel up to 30% for territory coverage.
• Reliable transportation for local travel.
