Description

Manage sales support operations within the automotive manufacturing sector, focusing on the transition from OEMs to Tier 1 suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Manage the sales cycle from OEMs to Tier 1 suppliers, handling quotation processes for part costs, tooling, capital investments, and packaging.
• Extract design inputs such as BOM and coating or surface protection details using CAD tools.
• Navigate OEM customer and supplier portals to manage business processes.
• Analyze component and tooling cost structures to support pricing accuracy.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in automotive manufacturing, specifically in sales, purchasing, quality, or production.
• Deep understanding of the sales cycle and quotation requirements for global OEMs.
• Experience with component and tooling cost structures.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office for data analysis, trend reporting, and presentations.
• Experience with BOM management.
• Knowledge of automotive manufacturing workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Business or Engineering.
• Exposure to Auto CAD or Catia V5 for collecting design inputs.
• Direct experience using OEM customer systems and supplier portals.
