Description

You will support the Statewide Applications and Services Maintenance and Operations Team by providing guidance, governance, and technical support for Salesforce development.

Responsibilities

• Perform application development and configuration management using Salesforce in accordance with established standards and best practices.
• Coordinate update releases, implement break/fix solutions, and maintain technical documentation throughout the application lifecycle.
• Build and validate code segments for specific releases to prepare for User Acceptance Testing.
• Develop work effort estimates based on project specifications and track progress through approved project management systems.
• Collaborate with other developers and department staff within a matrix management environment to resolve development issues.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in technical roles.
• Hands-on experience with the Salesforce platform.
• Ability to perform coding for in-house applications and configuration management for COTS applications.
• Experience with disciplined unit testing to minimize defects.
• Strong ability to determine development approaches that meet current requirements and anticipate future needs.
• Capacity to follow established service portfolio policies, procedures, and standards.
• Graduate degree in any field.
