Description

Design and implement large-scale Salesforce and CPQ solutions within a complex enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Propose application improvements and write system user stories for sustained engineering efforts.
• Conduct technical reviews of vendor designs to ensure adherence to best practices and design principles.
• Collaborate with enterprise, platform, and solution architects to design scalable and efficient technical solutions.
• Define application data access and integration layers, including data exposure methods and integration options.
• Develop high-level estimates by analyzing business cases and viable design solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing and developing software components with Salesforce.com and CPQ platforms.
• Proven experience driving implementation for very large Salesforce and CPQ solutions with multiple integrations (web services, legacy applications, AppExchange).
• Proficiency in Force.com APEX, Visual Force, Java, JavaScript, XML, and HTML5.
• Expertise in configuration, customization, and programming using APEX APIs and APEX Triggers.
• Experience implementing new Salesforce.com instances from inception of license purchase.
• Experience managing Salesforce sandboxes and their associated integrations.
• Strong understanding of RDBMS concepts.
• Familiarity with Salesforce.com best practices, support mechanisms, and platform limitations.

Preferred Skills

• Expert understanding of SOQL and intermediate knowledge of Oracle databases.
• Experience with ETL tools such as Force.com Data Loader, Informatica, or Pentaho.
